About Me

I have been writing my entire life, from my first epic "The Man Who Depended on a Toad" in second grade. (Well my mom loved it!) After earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University, I reported and wrote news for TV and radio for three different stations in Upstate New York. I went on to write job descriptions, training and procedure courses and manuals for just about every employer I have worked for, including my current temporary position as a computer technology expert at a local school district. Companies I worked and wrote for include mortgage and real estate companies on both coasts, a broadcast satellite network company, a cable distribution head-end, and a major satellite TV distributor.

I recently returned to Southern California after five years in Sydney, Australia. While there, I wrote PR for my kids' school and the talent agency I worked for, and I had my first taste of writing fiction. With my dear friend and one of the most talented musician, composer, singers I ever met, I wrote a Family Musical Comedy "Un-Fairytale" for stage for the American International School. I adapted it for screen and received a "Recommend" from Kids First.

My other screenplays include GI Jones and "Queen of the 'B' Moms" . Five producers requested a copy at a recent LA screenwriters' pitchfest. So maybe someone will produce it someday, I hope.

Two newer screenplays, "Dance Kings" and "Triple Threat". Both stories are inspired by a talented young performer who played "Billy" in "Billy Elliott the Musical" who I represented as a Talent Agent with Oz Talent in Sydney.
